DevOps Engineer

About the Role

Build and maintain our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability for global users. As a key member of our Engineering team, you'll work on cutting-edge technology that powers personalized STEM learning experiences for students worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability
• Implement security best practices and compliance standards
• Manage database backups, disaster recovery, and failover strategies
• Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization

Qualifications & Requirements

• 4+ years of DevOps/Cloud Engineering experience
• Expert-level AWS infrastructure management
• Deep experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Strong Terraform and infrastructure as code skills
• Proficient with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash)
• Understanding of networking, security, and compliance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
